I'm a romantic but have been increasingly bitter. I'm increasingly becoming a serious francophile and people tell me i'm an old soul, which i see as a compliment. Your trip sounds interesting. Having just finished reading Paul Theroux's "Dark Star Safari: Overland from Cario to Cape Town," I'd be interested in what an expert in African politics would have to say about it. I'm currently working on a review for my blog.
