I am now settling into swiss life. I moved in with my host family yesterday evening. I live with a woman Karen and her daughter Alessandra. Karen is American but has lived in Switzerland for 20 years. She is a legal advisor for governments. So far so good. It's unbelievable how beautiful it is here. I live in the village of Rolle on Lake Geneva. I'm surrounded by chalets and vineyards. I have yet to explore the area, but I have the next two days off to do so. They gave us a whole stack of readings to work on, and I must start thinking about my Independent Research Project.
